Wm. Robert McClamroch, 79, Rt. 6, Crawfordsville, died early Saturday morning at Kissimmee, Fla., where he was spending the winter. The prominent Montgomery County farmer's death was attributed to an apparent heart attack. Mr. McClamroch had gone to Florida in mid-November. His residence in Kissimmee was at 317 Monument St. Born June 1, 1889, he was a son of William B. and Ella Hunt McClamroch. He was married to Ruth Walter on July 2, 1913. A graduate of Crawfordsville High School, Mr. McClamroch attended Purdue University. He was a member of the first 4-H Council, Farm Bureau and was secretary and president of the old Montgomery County Fair. He served 16 years on the Montgomery County Council and was a member of Trinity United Church. Surviving besides the widow are a daughter, Mrs. Dale Davis of West Lafayette; a son, William W. McClamroch of Rt. 6, and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bright Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may pay respects at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
